We are thrilled to announce that The Confluence, our new $8.3 million, Passive House-certified Mass Timber building, is now open! This iconic 8,300-square-foot space serves as a hub for economic growth, tourism, and local business support, right at the heart of Castlegar.
Designed to operate with 85% reduced emissions, The Confluence is a testament to sustainability, innovation, and community collaboration.
The Confluence is home to the Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce, Destination Castlegar, and the West Kootenay Gateway Visitors Centre. With co-working spaces, meeting rooms, a large event space, and 24/7 public access, it offers a flexible, welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you’re looking for a spot to charge your devices, host an event, or rent office space, we are here to support your needs.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the individuals, corporations, and government bodies whose generous contributions have brought this dream to life. While our doors are open, there are still opportunities to contribute to this legacy project. Donations over $100 will be commemorated on our Donor Wall, and corporate sponsorships are available through our "Buy Your Name on a Room" program.
